On May 22, 1997—exactly 20 years ago—a certain song was recorded that would become an indelible memory to so many. Also titled "Love Theme From Titanic," the epic ballad to James Cameron's romantic blockbuster became a record-breaking hit and Dion's most famous single. Now, two decades after she famously recorded "My Heart Will Go On" in one take, Dion has reprised her signature song at the Billboard Music Awards.
The song was as powerful as it was when we first watched the film on the silver screen, but Dion's approach to fashion has certainly found its footing in the past two decades, with the singer making especially bold, fashion-forward choices as of late. After seeing how Law Roach styled Zendaya for the red carpet, Dion tapped the celebrity stylist to amplify her style in a major way. The difference is clear, with the singer emerging as a style icon and stepping out in Vetements and retro Gucci.
At this year's Billboard Music Awards, Dion took the stage in an epic Stéphane Rolland Couture 2017 collection gown. The slim-cut floor-length silhouette literally blooms into enormous, petal-like sleeves stemming from a deep V neckline. There's no denying the bright white and metal-encrusted number turned up the drama—a perfect complement to the momentous occasion. Keep scrolling to see Céline Dion's Billboard Music Awards look.
