The entire Kardashian clan is well versed in walking in heels—what’s an occasional struggle for most of us is the daily norm for them. But if anyone in the family should be crowned expert it has to be Kendall Jenner, who has now modeled on countless runways, including the lovely Chanel show earlier this morning. Unsurprisingly, Jenner has a few tricks up her sleeve for staying comfortable in the highest of high heels. Speaking to Elle.com while in said-heels, she admits:
Yeah, it's kind of painful! I'll be honest. I have the longest toes in the world; they're spider toes. They are. I have spider fingers, too! So they're kind of being crunched right now. [But] the shoes are good. They're Manolo Blahniks. And they're high. So I switch off from one foot to another a lot, like this. [She crosses one foot behind the other in her now-signature pose.] You have to keep moving your feet!
So take notes, ladies—it seems counterintuitive, but standing still with weight on both feet might not be the best solution. Instead, try to rotate the weight back and forth between each foot throughout the night so that they’re each regularly getting a break. If a model does it, there has to be something to it, right?
