As the professional landscape continues to evolve and the "golden age of entrepreneurship" further influences how we work (and play), our ideas on office attire will likely shift. Business Insider reports that according to a recent study by software company Intuit, "by 2020, more than 40 percent of the American workforce, or 60 million people, will be freelancers, contractors and temp workers."
What does this mean? For starters, more jobs will probably be online, meaning a more global—and remote—approach to the idea of the office, and furthermore, how one will dress for "the office." We'd venture to guess that because of this, the rise in athleisure's popularity, and a desire to be comfortable, you're most likely going to be wearing these items more often than your biweekly yoga class or weekend errand run.
