Gone are the days of cliché paisley prints and oversized, low-slung, disc belts and instead we have been treated to a summer of romantic textures, muted tones and wooden wedges. Far from costume cosplay, the new boho is altogether more polished with a sophisticated finish.
This summer, boho dresses in particular are emerging as one of the biggest trends. Once reserved predominantly for festival-goers (and famously seen paired with wellies on the likes of Sienna Miller and Kate Moss), this year we’re seeing them in a more elevated environment. As seen on the S/S'26 runways of Chloé, Zimmermann and Etro, this season's sweeping maxis and playful minis are more elegant than solely mud-splattered weekend wear.
