As fashion editors, it’s our job to be detail-oriented—noticing what people are wearing and what’s starting to define a new season. And since celebrities and their stylists are often among the first to wear the most coveted pieces ahead of time, I decided to take a closer look at the standout designer shoes that have been appearing in their wardrobes so far this summer.
It’s no surprise that I saw a mix of popular summer styles: kitten-heel sandals and ballet flats. Hailey Bieber remains loyal to her Toteme Leather Heeled Flip Flops, while Kendall Jenner continues to expand her ever-growing collection of The Row shoes. Then there are Alexa Chung's Sandy Liang mules, Elsa Hosk's Christopher Esber wedges, and Tessa Thompson's Chloé glass-slipper, Polly Pocket–esque heels.
