The MTV Video Music Awards have been full of some amazing surprises this year. From Beyoncé's matching outfit with Blue Ivy to Rihanna's multiple performances as the Video Vanguard award recipient, this night has been one for the books. On top of it all, we were blessed with an amazing comeback from one of the all-time queens of the VMAs, Britney Spears herself.
After slaying it on the red carpet in a one-sleeve dress, the pop star returned to the stage for the first time since 2007 to perform her new single "Make Me" with rapper G-Eazy off her latest album, Glory. It felt like it was 1999 all over again, and we were totally cool with it. Trust us when we say this is a performance you need to see.
