The fashion world's newest It girl Kaia Gerber clearly picked up a thing or two from her month spent walking the runways of fashion weeks around the world, as she's already wearing one of S/S 18's most buzzed-about (and controversial) new trends: visible bra straps. Gerber is back at home in Los Angeles and was seen over the weekend wearing a '90s-inspired look that would surely make her supermodel mom proud. While her $415 cheetah pants are certainly a splurge, the styling choice she made to let her bra straps show costs nothing but couldn't be more directional.
Given that it's been a style faux pas throughout the past couple of decades to leave your bra straps exposed, strapless bras have become a staple in women's lingerie drawers, much to the dismay of many (you're probably already aware that they're not the most comfortable of bra styles by any means). And it wasn't just exposed straps that were all over the runways. Many designers chose to expose entire bras in their looks, but if that's too risqué, follow Gerber's lead and just give a glimpse of your bra straps if you're so inclined.
Keep scrolling to see Gerber's look, along with some of the designers that may have inspired her with their visible bra strap endorsements.
