And Now, the Classic Luxury Buys Our Editors Will Stand By Forever
It’s no secret that us Who What Wear editors love to find chic buys at a more affordable price point. Of course, there are some great value, classic pieces to be found on the great British high street that will last a long time in your collection. But sometimes, when curating your forever wardrobe, you’re looking to spend a bit more on quality, luxury items that then elevate the rest of your wardrobe effortlessly. And while we do love an expensive-looking bargain, as experts in the industry we also know a thing or two about a smart designer fashion investment.
So, as we're at the start of a joyful new season, I thought I would ask my fellow editors: what’s on your luxury wish list right now? And their answers didn’t disappoint. We’re talking beautiful, buttery-leather bags, spring dresses and glossy accessories. Pieces that they love now but will also stand by forever. One thing’s for sure, these women know how to elongate someone else’s wish list in a heartbeat—you've been warned.
Below you can see and shop their current luxury shopping picks. Not everything on our lists is wildly expensive—some are little luxuries— but rest assured when they do come with a higher price tag, it’s on there because we believe it’s worth every penny. There’s some all time classics we’ve been lusting after for a long time, and some fresher new-in pieces that already seem just as timeless. Any one of these buys, though, feels rightly special, and will add polish to your everyday wardrobes for many years to come. Keep scrolling for some luxurious shopping inspiration…

"When it comes to bags, Bottega Veneta can honestly do no wrong. I absolutely adore their woven style leather bags and have recently been obsessed with their new Mini Wallace shoulder bag. From the fresh aloe green colour, to the easy shoulder strap, this would be the perfect spring companion for days out and about in the city."
"Surprisingly, I have never been a belt kind of gal, until the Khaite Benny studded belt popped onto the scene. As the weather warms up and I’m wearing less layers, I’m in the market for some fun accessories to style with my spring looks. And I think the bold studded detailing on this belt easily fits the bill."
"If I could, I would live in a pair super wide-leg jeans. I wear denim all-year round and love wearing loose jeans during springtime. I have been lusting over Citizen’s of Humanity’s styles for a while now, especially the Beverly wide-leg in this very versatile wash. I can see myself styling these with oversized blazers for the office and cool leather jackets for brunches out with my friends."

"Did you know Savette’s founder, Amy Zurek, used to design bags for Then Row and Khaite? Although the brand first came to be in 2019, it paused along with the rest of the world in 2020. Slowly building its way back up since, it’s now, in 2024, that Savette’s starting to really take off. I’ve had my eye on its Symmetry bags for years, and now seems like the perfect time to invest in one finally."
"I wear white dresses nonstop during the warmer months, and right now, I can’t stop thinking about this Zimmermann mini dress. Featuring the brand's signature embroidered cotton, I just know this would feel incredibly special to wear. Just wait until you see the bows at the back."
"Jewellery is my weakness and although I don’t wear quite as much as I used to all at once, one thing you’ll always find me sporting is a gold earring. This pair from Lié Studio will improve all of my outfits, I just know it."
3. Rebecca Rhys-Evans, Senior Fashion & Beauty Editor: Branded Content

"There are two trends I am here for in SS24: mesh and Mary Jane ballet flats. So if I can find items that put them together, you can guarantee they'll be on my wish list. I love how they look with denim on cooler days, and when it's warmer I'll put them with a mini skirt and linen shirt for ultimate French Girl styling.'"
"My love of a statement pair of sunglasses will never die, and the next I have my eye on are the Loewe Paula's Ibiza square frame sunnies. After years of being a black-only lens girl, thanks to Loewe I've turned a corner and am now a huge advocate for lighter lenses you can see your eyes through, and the more colourful the better."
"Our fashion editor Remy Farrell said that buttermilk yellow was going to be a hit this season, and since then I've not been able to get this cardigan out of my head. Imagine this with a white cotton dress below it—gorgeous!"

"If you're yet to add an investment bag to your collection, make sure Ferragamo is on your radar. The brand is excelling is exquisite handbags right now, and the East-West bag combines a striking silhouette with a timeless appeal that will ensure I reach for it year after year."
"From weddings to evenings out, there's plenty of reason to get dressed up right now, and my collection is missing a pair of timeless heels. True to form, The Row offers up a pair of refined slingback sandals that are sure to elevate any outfit, from floaty dresses to slick tailoring."

"Charmed by the double-denim looks I’ve been spotting everywhere as of late, I’m this season compelled to shop a structured denim jacket that can pair with my favourite indigo jeans—as well as hold its weight when worn with the rest of my collection. With a utilitarian edge, and a chic belted finish, this is the lightweight layer I’ve been looking for."
"Eager to retire my boots and trainers, I’ve been on the lookout for my perfect summer shoe. With a small kitten heel and barley-there straps, this chocolate brown shoe is about to be the hero of all of my best warm-weather outfits."
"Ideal for a brimming summer calendar, this lightweight dress offers a fresh and elegant silhouette that can work for a myriad of warm-weather occasions. Style with a strappy sandal for a spring-ready look or toughen up with a cowboy boot and a cashmere knit if the weather isn’t entirely on your side."
