24 New-In Pieces From COS, Mango and H&M That You'll Mistake for Designer
I think it is safe to say that the British high-street rarely disappoints. Whether you’re after a dress for a special occasion, great knitwear at affordable prices, workwear that will work hard for you way beyond the office or just classic pieces to add to your capsule wardrobe, it really does have (almost) everything you could ever need.
As a high-street aficionado, I take great pride in searching through the new-in pages on a daily basis of some of our best and brightest affordable brands and picking out the pieces that are really special. Consider that sensationally good bomber from Zara that went viral, Arket’s timeless blazer that both editors and influencers love and COS’s internet-famous crossbody bag. There's something for everyone and every style out there. The downside? It can be a real mission finding these noteworthy, designer-looking pieces, and it often takes a good amount of work (and a lot of time) to weed out the winners from those items we’d rather leave behind.
Now that these brands have dropped their winter lines, it's time to take another look at all of the pieces that look like they've walked straight off the runway and onto the high-street. I've put together a handy little edit of the best of the best from three of our favourite high-street brands: COS, Mango and H&M. Scroll on for the 24 pieces that I think you'll love, and that no one will know are from the high street. Don't worry, your secret is safe with me.
SEE THE BEST CHIC, NEW-IN FINDS FROM COS, H&M AND MANGO:
1. COS
The plissé folds really elevate these wide-leg trousers for a day in the office.
This classic black coat is well worth the investment thanks to its timeless cut and fantastic quality.
With the festive season upon us, I can't help but think that this would be the perfect dress for this time of year and at such a great price point!
COS always get it right with their bags, and this mini clutch is no exception.
A winter staple and perfect for layering with a basic tee and trench coat.
Chocolate brown? Tick. Suede? Tick. Western-style? Tick. Comfy heel? Tick. Yes, these boots have everything you could ever want and more.
2. MANGO
I may have to invest in these gorgeous burgundy boots and a burgundy handbag to match.
Dress this up with knee-high boots or down with trainers, the choice is yours!
The lapels on this coat are what makes it look much more expensive than it really is.
3. H&M
This collared cardigan can be dressed up or down, as shown above.
I can think of so many ways to wear this. Add heels and a blazer for date night or a trench and trainers for a weekend walk.
This piece was published at an earlier date and has since been updated.
