I'm a Beauty Editor—46 Gift Sets I've Saved to My Personal Wish List
I'm a beauty editor, so you'd assume I'd steer clear of any skin, hair, or makeup-related gifts on my holiday wish list, right? Wrong! While I do have the luxury of testing lots (and I mean lots) of product launches every week, I still find myself bookmarking the most iconically festive bundles to snag at a major discount—hey, it's job research.
I'm also constantly fielding questions from friends and family members about what beauty products are *actually* worth the price, to which I always say: Take advantage of sets! That way, you can score double (or triple) the product for so much less. What's more, brands typically launch exclusive (read: visually stunning and wildly marked down) versions this time of year, so there's never a better time to get your hands on the spendy best seller you can't stop thinking about. But I digress. Below, find the 46 gift sets I'm personally eyeing for myself and my loved ones this year. I also broke them all down by beauty category, so you can keep your wish list organized. (As a type-A editor, I certainly appreciate an efficient structure.) Happy shopping!
Fragrance Sets
Now's your chance to snag the famed Baccarat Rouge 540 (yes, it's worth it!) and four other best-selling fragrances from MFK: Grand Soir, 724, Aqua Universalis, and À La Rose. Let the "you smell so good" compliments ensue! Also, the mini bottles make such adorable stocking stuffers.
Diptyque's holiday offerings are some of my favorite launches, period. I mean, that packaging! It's so stunning that I wouldn't even wrap it. Baies and Figuier are constantly burning in my apartment, so I'm inclined to snag this set and place a mini candle in every corner.
I gasped when I clicked on this YSL Beauty set. Black Opium is one of the best YSL perfumes, like, ever (at least in our opinion!), as its notes of black coffee, white flowers, and vanilla provide the perfect sweet yet delicate scent. Lash Clash Extreme Volume Mascara is another winner in my book, as it has a dense, fluffy brush that delivers va-va-voom volume in one swipe. This buy is simply a no-brainer.
Why settle for one fragrance when you can have twelve? Here, Dossier offers five original scents and seven impressions inspired by high-end fragrances at just a fraction of the cost. Love Le Labo, Chanel, or Tom Ford? Dossier has a dupe for each—virtually identical and ready for you to try.
I fell in love with Sublime at first sniff. It's equal parts juicy, warm, and earthy with its mandarin, peach, vetiver, patchouli, and magnolia notes. There's also a strong leather note that exudes cool-girl energy (it's no wonder Kendall Jenner was the face of the launch campaign!). The bottle itself is a work of art, which means it's practically made for holiday gifting.
I didn't think Bella Hadid's Nightcap fragrance could get any chicer (it smells a bit boozy, like sipping an old-fashioned in a dark velvet booth), but then I saw this luxe packaging and gold perfume stand. I couldn't hit "add to cart" fast enough!
Father Figure, Missing Person, and Vanilla Skin are my all-time favorite fragrances from TikTok-viral brand Phlur. (I'm in good company, as those three happen to be the most viral!) I can see myself flying through these bottles at warp speed.
If you like gourmand fragrances, you are going to go wild for this trio. Apple Love smells crisp and juicy (I spray it on repeat come autumn); Vanilla Milk is creamy and surprisingly woody; and Myth evokes clean linens still warm from the dryer. If you can't tell, I'm obsessed with each and will be restocking my collection with this set.
Skincare Sets
If you have yet to snag the iconic NuFace, now's your chance to secure the cheekbone-snatching device! Heads up: It's already on sale for Nordstrom's early Black Friday event.
Yes, I know it's pricey. I also know that this serum, exfoliating tonic, and moisturizer have given me the best skin I've had in years (not exaggerating). Each product comes full-size, too, so it's a good bang for your buck—snagging them on their own will set you back $630.
Okay, how cute are these holiday mists? Mario Badescu's refreshing sprays have captured the social media masses, so I'd buy this for your friend who's always scrolling BeautyTok (that's beauty TikTok, for the uninitiated).
U Beauty's Flash Peel is one of my favorite launches of the fall, and the brand's Super Hydrator is truly top-tier (I'm talking capital-D dewy skin). As if that duo wasn't enough, this set also comes with the complimentary facial oil beauty editor Shawna Hudson says is like a "cozy blanket" for dehydrated skin.
I have a jumbo-size version of Tower 28's SOS Spray, but I'm inclined to snag another full-sized number with this set. (I'm obsessed, in case you couldn't tell.) The SOS Cream is just as soothing, and the LipSoftie is a godsend for the dreadful winter chap. Trust me—buying this kit will give you a leg up on winter skin woes.
In addition to Tata Harper's best-selling cleanser and resurfacing mask, face serum, and body serum, this kit comes with a 2025 Cosmic Beauty Calendar that recommends the best times for beauty rituals. Think at-home facials, exfoliation, and haircuts, all based on the moon cycle.
Yse has some of the best eye patches on the market. (If you don't believe me, just take a peek at WWW associate beauty editor Kaitlyn McLintock's glowing before and after photos.) These come in a limited-edition red (so chic!) along with the brand's de-puffing face roller. Dark circles? Where?
This firming duo is potent enough to address skin laxity (aka sagging) and provide an immediate tightening effect, but it's gentle enough to slather on more delicate areas of skin, like your neck and décolletage. I also must call out the chic corduroy pouch, as the soft burgundy fabric just oozes holiday vibes.
Sofie Pavitt's Micellar Cleansing Pads are a travel staple for me—I'd even go so far as to say I don't leave home without them! Her Clean Clean Cleanser is also a beauty cabinet staple, as it's super gentle yet actually cleans my skin of daily grime. I also love the extra velour wristbands, which help keep your sleeves dry while you wash.
Considering one bottle of Augustinus Bader's famous Rich Cream will set you back $300, this $325 set of three is really a no-brainer. I've personally flown through each and every formula multiple times—that eye cream is really a miracle worker for my sleepy dark circles!
RéVive's formulas, which are inspired by Nobel Prize–winning technology and created by plastic and reconstructive surgeon Gregory Brown, MD, are truly legendary. Here, you can score the brand's three full-size best sellers: an ultra-rich foaming cleanser, moisturizer (the brand's number one hero), and eye cream.
Fancy an at-home facial? This kit was made for impromptu spa days, as it really has everything you need for an easy three-step regimen. Versed's Resurfacing Mask and Dew Point Moisturizing Gel-Cream are two of my all-time favorite products from the brand, so I'm stoked I can get them both (plus the gorgeous cleansing balm) at just $20. That, my friends, is what's called an absolute steal.
I've gone through two bottles of that Chlorophyll Discoloration Serum, and let me tell you, it is magic. Don't fear the deep green hue—it applies clear. The Ceramide Barrier Serum is also a must-have before the winter chill really hits, and the brand's vitamin C is a wonderful, potent formula that doesn't break the bank (which is rare!).
Haircare Sets
If you know me, then you know I adore Dae. The formulas make my hair feel like silk, and the products smell like heaven. You can't go wrong with any of the brand's holiday kits, but I'm partial to this styling trio, which includes a full-size styling cream, dry shampoo, and dual-edge brush.
Stocking up on Oribe is never a bad idea. This kit includes the brand's cult-famous Dry Texturizing Spray, plus a travel-size shampoo and conditioner for all your holiday getaways. I wouldn't be mad if this set ended up in my stocking this season… Family and friends, take note.
Here's one for the friend who always has immaculate curls! This stunning set features T3's 1.25-inch curling iron, which has an extra-long ceramic barrel to speed up styling and help with long-wear. The Polish and Shine Brush is sturdy, high-quality, and shine-boosting, and the crease-less clips will help keep those curls in place as they cool.
Crown Affair is one of my favorite haircare brands, period. My friends all can't stop gushing about the dry shampoo (it's a best seller), but I implore you not to sleep on the Leave-In Conditioner. It's the perfect lightweight yet buttery consistency to keep my curls bouncy and well-hydrated. You can snag both with this set, plus a (very chic) olive-green silk scrunchie.
Let's not forget about those brow hairs! This is one of the most effective brow serums on the market. "I quite literally had to stop using it only a month or so due to how fast and furious my previously stagnant brow hairs were growing," writes McLintock. I mean, talk about a glowing endorsement!
This adorable set of three has everything you need for a salon-quality blowout that lasts: a heat protectant to use before styling, a flexible hairspray to keep strands glossy, and a dry shampoo to refresh the bounce.
I don't know about you, but I can no longer blow-dry my hair with a typical round brush. The math just isn't mathing. I typically lean on smart tools that combine the two tools in one like this GHD number, which comes with a heat-proof bag and a volumizing, shine-inducing cream.
Makeup Sets
Curious what $2000 worth of Hermès eye and lip products looks like? Well, here she is! This 40-shade collection is truly a staple in the making, boasting 24 creamy eye pencils and 16 stunning lippies from the iconic Rouge collection. Consider it the very chic, very luxurious adult version of a chest of colored pencils.
I recently gave this trio to a friend, and she quite literally squealed in delight. Take it from me: This Pat McGrath lip kit is a true crowd-pleaser.
Just the name of this set makes me want to click "add to cart." The Glossybounce lip oils are juicy and sweet (zero stickiness), so "candy box" is such a fitting moniker. I'd act fast, though—Saie has created only a limited number of these beloved PR boxes, so make sure to snag yours before it goes!
I cannot say enough good things about Victoria Beckham's Satin Kajal Liners. They're creamy, highly pigmented, and come in the most stunning jewel tones. With this deal, you can choose your adventure and snag three of your favorites. In case you need some inspiration, my go-to's are Bordeaux (a rich burgundy), Olive, and Sea Grey (a smoky gunmetal).
Chanel's entire holiday makeup collection is nothing short of sublime (see here for my full review and testing photos), but if you're only going to snag one set, I highly recommend this stunning kit. In it, you'll find two of the brand's most iconic offerings: inky black mascara and a satin finish French-red lip. The sparkling woven beauty pouch is a reason alone to cop the set—so chic.
Oh, look! It's my favorite Charlotte Tilbury staples in one iconic set! I'm a sucker for a Pillow Talk lip combo, and this kit has everything you need—plus a glowy highlighter for good measure.
Master the art of the five-minute face with this set of Merit essentials. You'll have your makeup down to a science in no time.
I dare you to pick a favorite shade after trying all three of these gorgeous, juicy glosses. The sting-free plumping properties are certainly a welcome bonus, too.
I may or may not be purchasing this kit for my mom this holiday season. (Mom, don't read this!) She's a huge Miracle Balm fan, as am I—it feels like finger painting in the best way possible.
Not to be dramatic, but I can't live without this limited-edition liner-balm duo. (I've already begged the brand to keep them around.) The plum finish is just gorgeous. I've been wearing both products on repeat all autumn long.
This creamy, blendable blush and highlighter duo was practically made for frosty, angelic holiday beauty looks. I love a big, plush doe-foot applicator and extra-dewy formula when it comes to my blush and highlighters. These tick both boxes!
Bodycare Sets
Moisturizing after every shower is essential year-round, but it becomes even more imperative as we enter the drier winter season. Osea's sensorial-appealing lotions and oils make the task feel so much more enjoyable.
Anyone else want to fake a post-vacation glow in the middle of winter? This bundle is a must-have for even, non-streaky self-tans. The mousse is formulated with skin-softening sunflower extract, jojoba seed extract, papaya extract, cocoa seed extract, and hyaluronic acid (talk about a long-term glow!), and the good-for-skin facial drops are so easy to mix in with your moisturizer.
I just tried Oak Essentials's brand-new bath oil, and I'm already obsessed. Trust me—it's worth a try. This set comes with the brand's mood-enhancing candle and moisturizing body balm for a true spa-grade experience. I can practically feel the tension melting from my shoulders already…
Next up on my list of shower essentials: this gentle exfoliating kit. The brand's Buffing Bar and Carea Cream are already staples in my regular bodycare routine, but I will spot treat areas of uneven texture with the Smoothing Solution once cold, drier weather rolls around (so, ahem, right about now).
Take it from me: You don't know badly you actually need high-quality nail clippers until you finally try some yourself. Tweezerman offers one of the best on the market, IMO, and it's paired with a polish remover "pushy" to help remove regular or gel polish from nail beds.
Nécessaire's Olibanum fragrance literally smells like perfume. Seriously, I would buy this scent bottled. These 450 milliliter bottles are such a score, and the sleek design makes for a very sophisticated shower aesthetic.
Akt is literally the only natural deodorant that works for me. I'm not exaggerating! The performance of this stuff is magical. Even Cynthia Erivo agrees, calling it "amazing" in a recent Instagram comment. So of course I must recommend the brand's new Wicked-inspired set, featuring Halcyon Summers (mint, pomelo, tomato vine) and Columbia Road (amber, violet, tonka) scents. The latter is my personal favorite, but the former reminds me of the laid-back energy of summer. I simply must give it a try.
