These Boots Are Already the Most Wanted of the Season

If there’s one fact you need to know about autumn/winter 2022, it’s that cowboy boots are going to rule. Whether you’re a fan of Western style or not, trust us when we say it’s going to be hard to avoid this fun footwear choice in the coming months. Of course, cowboy boots have been a fashion favourite for years, and you can find some incredible vintage styles to prove it. But this season, they’re going mainstream. Not only did we see them all over the A/W 22 catwalks, but the street style set has picked them up, too. At Copenhagen fashion week, you couldn’t turn a corner without seeing a rootin’ tootin’ pair staring back at you.

What's another telltale sign this boot trend is going to be everywhere? Brands from the high street to luxury designers are already jumping on them in a big way. Nearly all of them have a pair of cowboy boots on offer, and it’s not even cold yet. If you’ve been won over and are looking to invest in a pair that will see you through this season and many to come, how do you possibly choose a favourite?

Well, that’s where we come in. We take our job of recommending the very best fashion buys seriously, and ever since the first autumn drops started landing, we’ve been eyeing each and every cowboy boot style to find the pairs that are really worth your money. That was until Reformation, one of our (and many celebs’) favourite brands for sustainably-minded wardrobe pieces that last, went and blew all the others out of the water with a collection of the coolest cowboy boots we’ve ever seen.

Okay, you might be able to find more "authentic" styles in Nashville, Tennessee, or Austin, Texas, but if you can’t afford the flight, we guarantee these are the next best thing. There’s a taller style that comes in black, white and classic tan leather, and there’s an ankle version that comes in silver, tan suede and black—all with the iconic stitching, squared-off, slightly uplifted toe and comfortable block heel we love so much. Wear them with minidresses (like Jodie Comer did recently), midi dresses, jeans (tucked in or not), miniskirts, tailoring… You name it, and these boots go with it. Plus, they’ll make your outfit look cooler 100% of the time.

It would be cruel to make you wait any longer. Scroll down to see and shop Reformation’s cowboy boot collection before it’s too late.
