Kendall Jenner may not have started the trend she just wore out in L.A., but she's certainly wearing it well. The trend in question is that of wearing a tailored waistcoat as a shirt. Traditionally tailored waistcoats are more of a layering piece but now that it's almost summer, fashion girls are transitioning to wearing them as standalone pieces.
Jenner wore her vest with loose trousers, trendy padded sandals, and a colourful tote bag from Stine Goya, proving how polished the waistcoat-as-a-top trend makes everything you're wearing look. I'd also recommend wearing it with loose jeans, pleated shorts, or a silky slip skirt, and it looks great under a blazer or oversized denim jacket if the weather calls for an extra layer.
