I think we can all agree that the most important component of an airport outfit is the pants (with shoes coming in second, of course). The wrong pair of pants or jeans has the potential to practically ruin a travel day, which is why it's wise to pay attention to what very experienced (and stylish) travelers such as Gigi Hadid wear to the airport.

Hadid was spotted with Bradley Cooper at the airport in NYC over the weekend. (Yes, post-Taylor and Travis wedding extravaganza). Her simple, summery all-black travel outfit included a fitted T-shirt and a pair of trendy pants that happen to be very airport-friendly. The style in question is pull-on cropped cargo pants. As you know, cropped pants are currently in the midst of a renaissance, and It girls such as Hadid have proven to be very much on board.

Cropped pants are excellent for the airport because they're loose (and therefore comfortable), and they provide some coverage, but you don't have to worry about them dragging on the floor at any point, no matter what type of footwear you choose (in Hadid's case, flip-flops).
