We're only midway through summer, but already one thing is clear: 2026 belongs to the flip-flop. The unassuming, laid-back and casual sandal has been reimagined as one of the hottest footwear trends going this season. The midnight-blue colourway is already a firm fixture in my summer capsule, but I couldn’t help but fall for Reformation’s seasonal lobster-red-and-black iteration too. Dopamine-inducing reds have dominated colour trends for the past few years, but the addition of black lends a moodier, more refined edge, one which feels fresher and infinitely cooler.
