I have strict criteria for my jewelry: It must be compliment-worthy, be unforgettably unique, and make people curious. Where did you get that? Who made it? My jewelry collection is a blend of places I've traveled, sentimental pieces passed down through generations, and a passion for quality craftsmanship. As summer accessory trends begin to fade, fashion people are shifting away from sea-inspired designs to an archival presentation of pieces to match the fall trends. There is a trend toward cool metalwork and geometric gemstones that are almost architectural. Sterling silver in any form—polished or patinaed—is a favorite among the fashion set. There is a new love for experimental jewelry.
