Bikinis! Cover-Ups! Sunscreen! Everything in My Cart for My Next Beach Trip
I'm currently in L.A. for the month, so my next beach trip will just be a drive across town to Malibu. Beyond that, a tropical vacation is somewhere on the horizon, which has me thinking a lot more about everything that comes to mind when you picture a beach holiday.
A little over a year ago, I wrote about how I only owned two bikinis (one black and one red) since I live on the East Coast. Since then, I've built out a much more extensive swimwear collection. Some of my favorite brands right now are Araks, Bond-Eye, Frankies Bikinis, Fruity Booty, Gimaguas, Hunza G, Mare Perpetua, Miaou, Rashi World, and With Jéan. Our associate editorial director, Eliza Huber, swears by J.Crew and Tory Burch swimwear. I'd recommend COS and Zara as well.
For cover-ups, I'm currently eyeing airy dresses and sarongs, and I'm loyal to my Havaianas Slim Flip-Flops and a pair of jelly flats I picked up before a trip to Jamaica last year.
