While I love putting together a great cold-weather outfit, I do not love cold weather itself. The temps have officially dipped here in L.A.—and yes, I fully realize that 50 degrees in November doesn't sound bad to most people—but to me (and pretty much every other L.A. native) it's practically freezing. I even had to layer tights under micro shorts the other day. Tragic, I know. Winter hasn't even technically begun, and I'm already over it.
All I can think about lately is how badly I wish I could teleport somewhere warm and tropical, so I've been manifesting a beach vacation the only way I know how: By scrolling through chic new swim and resortwear. When I stumbled upon Bloomingdale's new resort collection, my desire to be on a beach with a piña colada in hand instantly intensified. I didn't even think that was possible, but the pieces are so fun, colorful, and luxe-looking, I couldn't help but plan vacation outfits. While I love a good swimsuit moment, warm-weather apparel is what I was most excited to shop for. I can already picture myself slipping into these after a full day of tanning.
