I Wager That This New Adidas Collab Will Sell Out By the Start of the World Cup
Adidas and Miaou are back with a new collection, this time in celebration of the upcoming World Cup. The release marks their second collaboration, following their first campaign starring Gabbriette and Devon Lee Carlson.
Inspired by soccer aesthetics, the two continue to put their distinctly feminine spin on traditional sportswear, offering a different approach to sideline style. As they shared in a press release: “With the early 2000s at its heart, the second collaborative collection between Adidas Originals and Miaou pays homage to the glamour and feminism of off-pitch style that turned footballers’ support into a cultural statement.”
The line features an updated Megaride silhouette, available in two colorways: silver with orange accents and baby blue with silver accents. Other pieces include a corset, a jersey, and nylon track pants that reimagine the classic soccer tracksuit.
The campaign—shot to resemble paparazzi photos—stars soccer player Riccardo Calafiori and model Alyson Dubey. For the launch, the brands hosted a party at Red Lion Tavern in Los Angeles. Below, see the campaign and shop the capsule collection.
