Every Chic Person I Know Owns This Toothbrush, and I Just Found It on Sale Early for Black Friday
If you're anything like me, you'll have found it hard to escape the Suri toothbrush. Here's my honest review.
Electric toothbrushes have certainly come a long way from their clunky, low-powered, expensive and overzealous beginnings. I’ve cycled through enough electric brushes over the years to know most of them either sound like power tools or die halfway through a trip. There's no denying it, toothbrushes are, by nature, unsexy beauty products. But then, earlier this year, something happened. It felt like all anyone was talking about was electric toothbrushes. More specifically, the Suri toothbrush—a somewhat luxurious take on the classic bathroom item. If you're anything like me, you won't have been able to escape the ads on your feed in 2025. And, truthfully, even as a beauty editor, I, too, got sucked in by the powers that be of *good marketing*.
The claims of Suri toothbrushes being quiet, minimalist and actually mindful of the planet caught my eye. I really believe that oral care doesn’t have to be ugly or wasteful, and that sustainability can, in fact, look good on your bathroom counter. So, after heaps of social-media persuasion, I decided I had to give it a try.
And luckily for me, I spotted that Suri was already offering up to 30% off online ahead of Black Friday. So I bit the bullet and gave it a go. Keep scrolling for my truest and most honest thoughts on the Suri toothbrush.
Suri 2.0 Sustainable Electric Toothbrush
Colourways: 5 –– Midnight Black (matte black), Morning Waves (steel blue), Sea Mist (white), Winter Fern (mint green), Sunset Bloom (pink)
First glance: This Suri toothbrush is sleek, with a soft-to-the-touch brushed-metal aluminium body and minimalist aesthetic. It's compact and has a beautiful, clean finish, which is complemented by a magnetic mirror mount and its very own clean-and-charge travel case.
Pros
- Lightweight
- Long battery life
- Eco-friendly
- Ergonomic design
- Cleaning case
Cons
- Bristles may be a little too soft
- Price point
- No app-connectivity
Key Features & Performance
Battery Life: You can get a colossal 40+ days of use on a single charge. That's far fewer recharges than many competing brushes.
Timer & Pacer: The toothbrush features a two-minute timer with 30-second interval feedback (to prompt you to move to a different quadrant of your mouth).
Noise levels: Operating at ~54 dB (for some units), it’s quieter than many electric toothbrushes on the market.
Sustainable Materials & Service: The plant-based heads, bristles and recyclable aluminium body set SURI apart for its eco-conscious properties. The brand also offers a repair service (rather than forcing full replacement) for some models.
Travel-Friendly Features – The magnetic wall-mount, slim travel case (with a UV-C cleaning light option) and long battery life make it the perfect travel companion.
What I Love
This toothbrush feels premium to the touch, is quietly powerful and stable in the hand. When it comes to oral care, I like to keep things simple, so I love how you don't have to faff with an app to get the maximum efficiency out of it. Aside from the obvious wins like battery efficiency and its eco credentials, I also love how user-friendly all the accessories are. It's truly a sleek, efficient and quiet operation, even including a mirror-mount option that scratches the clean-girl, minimalist itch of my brain.

What Could Be Better
Although the Suri performs super well, after a few uses, I did wonder whether it was as intensive and provided as deep of a clean as those powerful oscillating electric toothbrushes. As far as the cost, though, for just £84 in the Black Friday sale, it's significantly more affordable than the super-high-tech toothbrushes, so it's probably unfair for me to compare.
Verdict: Is It Worth It?
If you are a design-oriented, eco-warrior who travels frequently, values long battery life and premium build quality (that doesn't necessarily need the most aggressive cleaning power available), and you're looking for that “one good toothbrush” rather than multiple upgrades, then I would confidently say yes, this toothbrush is a smart investment.
If you have very heavy plaque build-up, deep gum-line issues or prefer brushes with a full suite of top-tier features (pressure sensors, many modes, app connectivity, etc.), then there's a chance the Suri won't cut it for you. That being said, for an everyday toothbrush that ticks the boxes for your average person, it's a great investment.
