3 Chic Boot Trends Fashion People in London Are Wearing on Rotation Right Now
Brittany Davy
As I type, I can tell you that the chillier weather has finally arrived here in London. This kind of change in temperature gets me excited about all the fresh street style trends I know I'm about to spot around the city. We all know that London fashion people love to take risks with what they wear; they're known for starting trends that are stylish and practical in equal measure (we have to consider the weather), and their footwear choices are no different.
5. TAN AND BROWN
With winter finally here, a trending boot is the only shoe style on my mind. These sturdy footwear styles see us through wind and rain whilst keeping our feet comfortable—most Londoners have to do a fair bit of walking daily, not to mention some rather packed-out day-to-night scheduling, which means their boots need to be ready for anything. Oh, and that's without scrimping on style.
So which boots are currently trending in our chilly capital? Scroll for my findings.
Shop the Major London-Girl Boot Trends of Winter 2024:
1. Brown Suede Boots
Style Notes: We may have stolen from our French sisters, but brown suede boots are heavily trending in London, and it doesn't matter if they get a bit scuffed or rain-damaged; that just adds to their vintage feel. They're a particularly good addition to a monochrome look—see how Alexandriah has used her boots to add texture to her tonal outfit, pictured above.
Shop Brown Suede Boots:
These block-heel ankle boots will style well with jeans and knitted dresses.
2. Animal-Print Boots
Style Notes: Animal-print boots are the newest style taking over the capital. Whether you opt for leopard, snake or zebra, animal-print boots are a great choice for those looking to add interest to their outfits without feeling too "out there." Stick to prints in classic hues to ensure you can wear them with everything in your wardrobe.
Shop Animal-Print Boots:
Leopard print is as good as any neutral.
I predict that cow print will be huge news this season.
3. Biker Boots
Style Notes: When in doubt and in London, wear chunky, low, flat-soled biker boots and you'll fit right in. The designer market is filled with luxe options, but we think the high street really steals the show with its biker-boot selection for winter 2024.
Shop Biker Boots:
I love the idea of biker boots with an all-leather outfit.
The lighter pair will freshen up your winter outfits.
