Kate Middleton's impeccable style highlights her mastery of not only mixing high and low pieces but also re-wearing them with much success. Over the weekend, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William hosted a tea party on the grounds of Buckingham Palace to honor the children of those who have passed serving in the armed forces. For the occasion, Middleton wore a lovely knit cream dress with geometric detailing on the long-sleeve turtleneck top and an A-line skirt belted at the waist. But while her dress and belt pairing were perfect for the springtime festivities, it was her taupe wedges that caught our attention.
The Duchess wore a pair of summery espadrille wedges from sustainable British high-street brand Monsoon. Middleton first debuted the shoes last year when she visited India. Later in the year, she wore them again on back-to-back occasions in Cornwall and the Isles of Sicily. Middleton's exact pair is sold out, but the wedges retail for just under $60 on the London brand's site.
