There are brands I have loved for years and always find myself returning to, and one of those is Gimaguas—an all-time favorite that's minimalist while still being fun and playful.
The label, translating to "twins" in Spanish, was started by twin sisters Claudia and Sayana Durany in 2018. From the best-selling studded Franca Bag to the viral project the brand did with Havaianas last year, it has since grown into a cult favorite fashion people love. The website shares, "Our collections—many created in collaboration with artists and artisans that we admire—focus on relaxed silhouettes, technical knitwear, and craft-inspired detail. All Gimaguas pieces are designed in Barcelona, and most are proudly made in Spain."
This summer, its hot-pink neoprene ballet flats caught my eye after I noticed them on Devon Lee Carlson, and I'm loving the red version for fall. (Other celebrity fans include Addison Rae, Hailey Bieber, Hunter Schafer, Kylie Jenner, and Olivia Rodrigo, among others.) Aside from the flats, items on my current wish list include the red wool Maria Jacket, the black patent-leather Car Shoes, and the Bieber-approved Lula Trousers.
