Imaan Hammam is no stranger to the Met Gala. The Dutch supermodel first made her debut on the carpet in 2018, but since then, she's leveled up, if we do say so ourselves.

This year's first Monday in May was all about celebrating the Metropolitan Museum of Art's spring 2025 exhibition, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, an exploration of The Black Dandy, aided written about by author Monica L. Miller in her book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. Aligned with the exhibition, the dress code for the blue carpet was Tailored for You, a nod to the impeccable tailoring Black people have carried with them for eons.

Hammam, dressed in a sublime Madga Butrym white suit, knew this year was one of her favorites. The model, who was styled by Imruh Asha, fashion director of Dazed, wrote on Instagram that her look was magical. Given Hammam ended up on several best-dressed lists, we're inclined to agree. Hammam graciously shared her evening minute-by-minute and included all of the details you might have missed in her paparazzi shots. Below, read her complete Met Gala 2025 GRWM diary, exclusively shared with Who What Wear.
