First Princess Diana, Now Hailey Bieber: 4 Trends That'll Be Revived This Spring
Princess Diana's style never gets old. Even though trends have come and gone and new fashion icons have been minted in the intervening decades, the late royal's outfits continue to inspire people in 2026. Case in point: Hailey Bieber's spring style. I don't know if Princess Diana is actually on Bieber's mood board or not, but I see several strong through lines between the two women's closets.
Certain colors, patterns, and pieces Bieber wears remind me of Princess Diana's spring and summer wardrobe from the '80s and '90s. When Bieber wore black-and-white polka-dot capri pants, for instance, it instantly made me think of the late royal's love for the same colorway and print. Plus, while Diana never wore polka-dot capri pants specifically, she did have a love of printed pedal pushers, including a pink gingham version.
