You'd be forgiven for thinking shorts simply aren't all that relevant this season. After all, knee-length skirts and pretty cotton dresses have dominated new-in sections for months. But I'd argue that shorts are far from out of the picture. It's just that the styles fashion people are reaching for look a little different these days.
Whilst denim cut-offs don't have quite the same hold they once did, a handful of fresher silhouettes are breaking into wardrobes of the chicest dressers right now. Among them, board shorts and Bermuda shorts are the unlikely shorts trends surfacing this season, and Elsa Hosk is a key member of the stylish crowd wearing them on repeat right.

Also embracing another of the season's most important silhouettes, I next spotted Elsa in a pair of long-line Bermuda shorts this week. Wearing hers as part of another understated look, the shin-grazing pair delivered the same relaxed energy, but with a slightly more polished finish. Retaining that subtly masculine edge, they make for an unfussy, wearable outfit that feels elevated.
