Holiday campaigns are a dime a dozen this time of year. Not that we don't love chic gift wrap, turtleneck sweaters, and cozy beanies as much as the next person, but after a while, the festive scenes start to all look alike. But leave it to Farfetch to shake up the status quo and do something a bit out of the ordinary. As WWD reports, the retailer tapped one of the choreographers from Beyoncé's "Formation" music video, Dana Foglia, to create a high-energy, shoppable dance video for its holiday campaign.
"In the same vein that Farfetch pushes the boundaries offering new brands and boutiques, we wanted to bring a fresh perspective to how you dress, entertain and shop for the holidays," Stephanie Horton, chief marketing officer of Farfetch, told WWD. Horton went on to explain the retailer's choice to hire Foglia: "We were excited to bring the entire idea to life through dance and she was the perfect person," she told the site. We dare you not to be in a good mood after watching it below.
