Emma Roberts is one of Coach's biggest celebrity fans, and she's been a front-row fixture at its shows for the past several seasons. Naturally she was in attendance today at New York Fashion Week wearing a Western-inspired frock from the brand, a whimsical celestial-themed clutch, and perhaps the edgiest pair of shoes we've ever seen the actress wear. Roberts chose a pair of knee-high open-toed lace-up boots akin to something Kendall Jenner or Gigi Hadid would wear. We love the combination of the sweet, demure dress and the alluring, dramatic boots.
Coach's S/S 17 collection was clearly influenced by the grunge era—the '90s. The intricate jackets, in particular, stood out, many featuring embellishments, which has been a trademark of Coach's in recent seasons. Accessories are obviously of utmost importance to the brand, and creative director Stuart Vevers is endorsing studded platform boots and fringed chain-strap mini bags for spring. They complemented the feminine grunge aesthetic of the collection beautifully.
