Sienna Miller Just Wore the Sandal Trend That's All Over ASOS and Zara
I am struggling to think of an occasion when I didn't appreciate (and directly want to copy) an outfit of Sienna Miller's. Her success rate for influencing myself—or any member of the Who What Wear team—must sit around the 99.9% mark. From casual getups that feel effortlessly thrown on to bohemian eveningwear options, her ensembles never feel contrived. Miller's choices can echo trends but are never slavish to them, and her latest look is yet another masterclass in how to cherry-pick the latest items and looks that work for your personal style.
Arriving for an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Sienna stepped out onto the streets of NYC in a stunning white, ruched dress that could have easily felt bridal, but with her clever makeunder techniques, she transformed a fancy look into one we can all take a few tips from. By throwing a navy, oversized crombie coat into the mix, toting a slouchy tan suede handbag and slipping into a pair of sassy, white thong heels (a trend that I've seen all over ASOS, Zara and Mango recently), she created a blue print for how to turn your event frocks into something altogether more relaxed.
We know Sienna is a fan of a simple, mannish coat or two—she recently became part of the celebrity fan club of one particular Mango coat—but she also showed another way to rework this dress as a skirt, by flinging a navy roll-neck knit over-the-top. Two outfits for us to consider, and two very economical ways to make a recent dress purchase work harder. That being said, the style note we'll be first investigating is Sienna's shoe choice. Cooler than a pair of nude sandals or courts, but still just as versatile, white strappy sandals (especially with a heel that isn't too high) are everywhere right now and for good reason. They look great with wedding-guest and event dresses, but they'll also be fashion friends with tailored trousers, suits, jeans and more.
