7 Shoe Trends to Try Now (Before Everyone Else Is Wearing Them)

Our iCals may say April, but our sartorial minds are already thinking fall. Yes, we adore summer as much as the next girl (c’mon, we’re not crazy cold-worshipers), but the F/W 15 trends were just too good to not want to wear now—especially the fanciful footwear. Right? While we don’t have magical fashion powers to speed up production (we’re working on it), with a little shopping finesse, it’s easy to step into the trends that won’t officially be out until August.

Scroll below to check out seven of the best shoe trends from the fall runways and find out how to get the look now. Go on, get a leg, er, foot, up in the style department before everyone else does.

It’s impossible to walk into a store these days and not spot fringe. Well, the ‘70s-esque trim isn’t going anywhere come fall. But rather than hanging out on jackets and skirts, it’s making its way down to your ankles instead.

Topshop Muskat Fringe Suede Ankle Boots ($150)

Pair these with culottes or shorts so you don't overheat.

Whistles Acca Fringe Mule ($300)

If you want something more subtle, this sporty-esque fringe is just enough.
