Gigi Hadid Stepped Out in $38 Shorts and a $55 Bag—Do We Have Your Attention?
While the temps here in NYC are still very much stuck in summer mode, any fashion girl can attest to the fact that regardless of the actual weather, we still all have fall fashion on our minds. Blame it on NYFW being just two short weeks away, the fact that every storefront's and website’s new-arrivals section is stocked with sweaters and jackets, or simply summer outfit fatigue. Either way, all roads lead to the fact that the closest we can get to fall fashion right now is transitional dressing.
Think that new fall bag you already bought sneaking into your current rotation or the addition of a light-but-trendy sweater to your summer uniform of the last two months. There are countless ways to infuse next season into your outfits right now, and last night in NYC, Gigi Hadid showed us another one. Stepping out in a blazer, graphic tee, and bike shorts, she not only gave us outfit envy but also made re-creating her look an actual possibility thanks to a handful of affordable pieces she wore. Her go-to Reeboks are a worthy investment at $75, her woven bag (which, by the way, is the perfect nod to the fact that we’re still actually in summer) can be purchased for $55, and her bike shorts (that also happen to be in my own closet) are a mere $38.
If I lost you during my rant about the seasons and transitional dressing, I’m betting I have your attention now. To see and shop Gigi’s look, plus more items you’ll need to make the outfit your own, just keep scrolling.

Up next? The only fall jewelry trend that matters right now. Hint: Gigi is wearing it.
Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2024, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch Summer House.
