In case you weren't already clued in, flip-flop sandals are one of this season's biggest sandal trends. While these styles are not new, considering their ubiquitous presence in fashion history, they seem to be quite controversial this time around, typically bringing in either overwhelming approval or outright distaste. I, for one, am a fan thanks to all the chic flip-flop outfit inspiration I come across daily.

One thing I found surprising was that many in the European fashion set adopted a love for flip-flops over the past year.
