I know I'm not alone in the fact that when it comes to planning my outfits, I always start with the shoes regardless of the season. Since I can remember, I've been a shoe person who gets downright giddy when I score a new pair that I love. Thankfully, the shoe gods have blessed us with some gorgeous shoe trends in time for summer—styles so good that you won't be able to stop staring at your feet when you're wearing them (neither will your friends or chic passersby).

I had a delightful time perusing the shoe departments of some of my favorite retailers like Nordstrom and Zara to find all the standouts for summer.
