Aqua, pool blue, azure—whatever you want to call it, shades of bright blue have had a strong grip on the coolest brands' inventory this summer, and celebrities and fashion people are dutifully buying in. You may recall that earlier this summer, Anne Hathaway wore a head-to-toe cerulean outfit, which was just one of many examples of celebrities embracing the trend over last summer's go-to color trend: butter yellow (still cool, but not quite as cool as bright blue). And now, within a day of each other, Zoe Saldaña and Karlie Kloss were spotted heading to press appearances in NYC wearing the aforementioned pool blue.

Coincidentally, Saldaña and Kloss both wore silk pool blue pencil skirts—Saldaña with a white blouse and Kloss with a matching blazer.
