"There are many different variations you can take with a pixie, keeping length in areas or cropping them in," says Hawkins.

Don’t underestimate how versatile this haircut can be. "The Pixie haircut continues to be an on-trend haircut because it never looks the same on two people and can be styled differently," he adds.

However, if you're thinking about going for the chop, it's worth considering how to style this short haircut. "This doesn’t necessarily mean more effort or time, it’s switching up your products to curl-defining lotions, wax sprays or powders," says Hawkins.
