This Woman Based Her Life on Gossip Girl

Bobby Schuessler

Cosmopolitan writer Hannah Orenstein didn't just like Gossip Girl; she loved—and based her entire life on—it. That's right. After she first saw the show at 15, she bought a wardrobe to resemble Blair Waldorf's offering (headbands included), planned trips to NYC from Massachusetts to get a taste of life on the Upper East Side, and even applied to NYU just like the kids on the show.

Now, as a senior at NYU (eight years after Gossip Girl first aired), Hannah tells her story of how the show really changed her life. Read the full piece on Cosmopolitan right now.
