Attention, all fashion girls—we've found the white shoe trend of fall 2016. Funnily enough, the hugest street style obsession right now includes any pair of white shoes that isn't sneakers. It might sound simple, but give us a chance to explain. White shoes were all the rage at New York Fashion Week, from patent leather booties (yes, really!) to wood-heeled mules. Sandra Semburg first rounded up her own favourite style shots from the week, but we've since spotted shots from the likes of Style du Monde and Vogue's roundup of Phil Oh's best NYFW shots.
To no one's surprise, the first celeb to be on top of the movement was Victoria Beckham. She stepped out in a pair of clean Manolo Blahnik pumps with her otherwise monochrome navy knit look. While stilettos are of course her signature staple, whether she's at the airport or a runway show, the optic hue is an exciting addition to her usual palette. With her stamp of approval on this style, in addition to the endless slew of street style inspiration, we can guarantee this is one trend that will be hitting everyone's shopping carts hard.
