These days, it can feel like high street collaborations—whether with an influencer, a luxury brand or even a cartoon character—are a dime a dozen. As editors we genuinely receive hundreds of emails weekly with press releases shouting about new special collections, so you can’t blame us for being a little speculative. However, when news of the Uniqlo x Clare Waight Keller collaboration (coined by the brand as Uniqlo : C) landed in our inboxes earlier this summer, you can bet we sat up and took notice. Finally, the release date has arrived and below we've rounded up the best items for you to shop now the collection is live (be quick, though, this one's going to sell out fast).

Clare Waight Keller might not be a familiar household name to those outside of the fashion industry (unless you follow royal weddings particularly closely), but that's no reason not to get excited about this latest high street collection. Especially if you’re a fan of quiet luxury and capsule wardrobes (at affordable prices, no less). Waight Keller boasts an impeccable CV; she worked as a stylist for Calvin Klein in the '90s and designed under Tom Ford at Gucci (both iconic times for elevated minimalism). Since then she's helmed two of the most luxurious French fashion houses as Artistic Director—first Chloé, and most recently Givenchy, where she famously designed none other than Meghan Markle's beautiful wedding gown. Now, that's a ridiculously chic repertoire.

Lucky for us, now we can all take home a slice of her feminine, sophisticated and, most importantly, wearable take on fashion design. The new Uniqlo : C collection is overflowing with everyday pieces that still feel incredibly elevated. Mostly thanks to the quality of the fabrics and modern yet timeless designs. On the collection, Waight Keller says, "I was most particular about the fabric when designing the collection. When you're working at a different price point, the way the fabric translates is very important to achieve the right silhouette, and so this was a critical part... really looking at what [fabrics] were going to create the most successful and beautiful result for the price." She continues, "I have to say I've been very impressed [with Uniqlo]. Things like the cottons, and the nylons, are of an exceptional level." High praise from someone who has worked with the most luxurious materials in the game.
