My Style Is Simple, and These Are My Favorite Spring Outfit Ideas

I’ve said it (probably a million times) before, and I’ll say it again: Simple style doesn’t have to be boring. Don’t get me wrong. It definitely can be, but more often than not, there is a way to make an interesting outfit out of relatively basic pieces. Think T-shirts, jeans, blazers, and even sweatpants.

With that in mind, today I’m here to show you some of the simple-but-cool looks I’m loving and hoping to re-create in the near future. From celebrities to street style stars to—of course—our favorite accounts to follow on Instagram, below you’ll be able to see and read about nine outfits for spring, summer, and beyond, all of which comprise pieces you likely already own. Of course, if you can't, or simply aren't in the mood, to shop, I’ve got you covered on that front, too. To get started, just keep scrolling.

While I might have to swap the chunky boots for mules or heeled sandals, I'm definitely copying Elsa Hosk's cropped blazer suit situation ASAP.

On Hosk: Westward Leaning Solitaire 01 Sunglasses ($195); Orseund Iris Box Cropped Wool-Blend Pinstripe Blazer; Bottega Veneta Medium The Chain Pouch Leather Clutch ($3600) and belt; Acne Studios pants; Prada boots

I've already purchased and proclaimed my love for slit-front leggings, and now it's time for me to re-create the rest of this look by styling an open utility jacket over a white tee and adding sporty fashion sandals.

On Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: Low Classic jacket; Wardrobe.NYC Release 05 Slit-Front Jersey Leggings ($450); Chanel sandals

You can never go wrong with jeans and an oversize blazer, but I especially love the high-low addition of the Prada nylon bag and equally important New Balance sneakers.

On Kaia Gerber: Celine Tournon Jacket in Checked Wool ($2950) and jeans; Prada bag; New Balance 990v5 Sneakers ($175)

Maybe it's because I already own this dress, but I love the combination of a neutral mini with of-the-moment chain heels.

Before the temperatures really rise, try pairing a hoodie with leather pants—another trend that's not going away anytime soon. Any shoes work, so feel free to choose based on your mood.

Did someone say sweatpants? Dress up your favorite pair by layering an oversize blazer over a basic tank and adding heeled sandals.

Tube top, slightly baggy jeans, mules—need I say more?

A chic knit set will have you feeling like you're in pajamas but looking like you actually got dressed that day.

Closing it out with the combo I'm most likely to wear first: an all-white sweatpants-and-tee look, topped off with a chunky chain and trendy tube socks.
