Shay Mitchell Wore an Epic Jacket Trend While Breastfeeding Her 2-Month-Old
After wearing some rather stylish maternity outfits all summer, Shay Mitchell gave birth to her baby girl, Atlas Noa, this October. As a new mom, the actress, model, and entrepreneur has been sharing several candid images with her precious newborn on Instagram, but just this week, Mitchell posed in front of the camera for a shoot that's truly next-level. In it, she wore a green vinyl jacket with voluminous sleeves from emerging Georgian designer Aleksandre Akhalkatsishvili while breastfeeding her 2-month-old—and the resulting image is a powerful one.
In fact, it reminds us of a similar shoot Rachel McAdams did last year wearing a breast pump for a magazine cover shoot. Both Mitchell's and McAdams's images are important because they help to normalize breastfeeding and take away the stigma that so many new mothers face. Plus, we'd be remiss not to mention how chic Mitchell looks in her leather jacket that just so happens to align with an emerging 2020 outerwear trend: colorful leather. Scroll down to see the stunning image which Mitchell playfully captioned, "Breast friends," along with more moments of baby Atlas.
