11 Royals Whose Style I'm Obsessed With

I spend a lot of my time in the worlds of celebrity style, street style, and, more recently, Instagram style, but there are a handful of royals from around the globe whose fashion choices I also have noticed continuously pop up on my radar as well—from ladies to princesses and even a viscountess. You likely already know some, and you may have never heard of others, but one thing is for sure: They’re all worth keeping an eye on.

Even more interestingly, they provide a range of style inspiration from classic and always dressed up to surprisingly cool and casual. To see the ladies who made my list and to read a little bit about each, simply continue on below. Then, don’t think you’re done until you’ve shopped my princess-inspired picks at every price point.

Princess Charlene of Monaco

As a former Olympic swimmer for South Africa, Princess Charlene of Monaco may have been on our radar regardless of whether she married into royalty, but either way, we’re sure glad she is because this jumpsuit outfit is next-level.

Princess Deena Aljuhani Abdulaziz

It’s no surprise that this princess/fashion editor has unbelievable style, but that doesn’t stop me from getting excited every time the street style photographers snap her in a new fashion week outfit.

Lady Amelia Windsor

At only 24, the young royal is already a fixture on the fashion scene, taking her casual-cool style to shows and events and earning a spot on last year’s Vanity Fair International Best-Dressed List.

Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana of Thailand

Fun fact: Aside from performing her royal duties and sitting front row at fashion week, Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana of Thailand (seen below attending a Giambattista Valli haute couture show) also crushes it on the badminton field. Now that’s a triple threat I’d like to be.

Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark

While there’s some disagreement on the internet about whether or not she’s really a royal, one thing is for sure: She’s got great style and an Instagram account to prove it.

Viscountess Emma Weymouth

Any royal who will wear a crop top and look this chic in it gets an A-plus in my book. Extra points for also being a Dolce & Gabbana muse alongside Lady Kitty Spencer.

Ladies Alice and Violet Manners

As fixtures on the London social and party scenes (at least, that’s what the internet tells me), the Manners sisters not only look like incredibly fun to hang out with, but they also have perfected the "coordinated but not too coordinated” sister outfit thing.

Lady Kitty Spencer

Since her spotlight-stealing Dolce & Gabbana royal wedding look, I’ve been mildly obsessed with Kitty Spencer’s simultaneously regal and rebellious style. Her uncanny likeness to her late aunt, Princess Diana, doesn’t hurt either.

Talita von Fürstenberg

As the granddaughter of Diane von Fürstenberg and Prince Egon von Fürstenberg of Germany, Talita von Fürstenberg has both style and royalty in her blood—as evidenced by her presence on the fashion circuit as well as her jet-setting Instagram activities.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge

You guessed it: I’m totally Team Kate. Call me a sucker for simple silhouettes and a good old-fashioned uniform, but I’ll always have a place for the Duchess of Cambridge on my best dressed list.

Editor-at-Large

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2020, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch 90 Day Fiancé.
