We've Overlooked Pixie Geldof's Style for Far Too Long

Pixie Geldof's sartorial choices have long been in the spotlight. Many of her outfits (particularly those from her late teens and early 20s) were bestowed with a punk sensibility—think printed band tees, ripped jeans, platform heels, and kohl-lined eyes. And while she certainly hasn't lost her wild streak, it has become somewhat more refined over the last couple of years. In fact, we think she's never looked better…

The 28-year-old DJ and Brit It girl's playful approach to getting dressed is still evident. However, instead of green teddy-bear bags, you're more likely to find her sporting chic padded headbands, glittery heels and beaded top-handle bags. As for her clothes, her recent dress collection easily rivals that of her fashionably fluent friend Alexa Chung. Miu Miu and The Vampire's Wife serve as her go-to labels, as does influencer favourite Réalisation, whom she also modelled for earlier this year.

However, one of Pixie's best looks has to be the dress she chose to don for Princess Eugenie's wedding in October 2018. Trust us—it's pretty special. See it and the rest of Pixie Geldof's exemplary style below. Before long, you'll be just as obsessed with her as we are.

This embellished Miu Miu dress looks as if it were made for Pixie, as do her on-trend Mary Janes and headband. Gorgeous.

This The Vampire's Wife dress has long been on our wish list. Should we ever get out hands on it, we plan on wearing it exactly like this.

Oversized silhouettes are high on the dress agenda right now, and naturally, Pixie is spearheading the trend. We don't know about you, but we'll be losing sleep over those glittery Miu Miu shoes. 

For friend Princess Eugenie's wedding in October 2018, Pixie opted for a pink draped dress from (old) Céline—its spring/summer 2017 collection to be precise. As such, she was easily one of the best-dressed guests in attendance. 

We don't know what we want more—Pixie's Réalisation dress or her adorable pup. 

The Glastonbury regular looked the rock 'n' roll part at the 2019 festival in leopard-print trousers and a shirred halter-neck top. 10/10. 

The minidress, the suede boots, the fringe, the pose… This look embodies everything that was chic about the '70s.

Mint and tan isn't a colour combination we'd ordinarily wear, but Pixie's outfit has convinced us otherwise. 

Now this is how to wear sequins. Pixie once again turns to Miu Miu for her evening-out attire. 

A FROW regular, Pixie turned heads for all the right reasons in this Giambattista Valli embroidered minidress, which she wore to the brand's Paris Fashion Week show in March 2019.

Let's face it—we'd wear a tiara every day if we could. Pixie, we salute you and your top-to-toe Miu Miu attire.

Turns out Pixie's a high-street girl too. Case in point: this Shrimps x Warehouse cossie from its 2019 collaboration. 

Of course, Pixie was carrying this season's most in-demand arm candy before anyone else.

Giving her pretty satin minidress an edgy overhaul with patent black biker boots and a beaded Shrimps handbag. 

Pixie Geldof proves that sometimes when you need a sartorial pick-me-up, some sequin indulgence is wholly necessary. 

Adding a playful spin to a fancy frock with colourful hair slides. 

Much like BFF Alexa Chung, Pixie has a penchant for sleek Mandarin collar dresses and metallic footwear. 

Note how she masterfully dresses down her slinky slip skirt–and–metallic boots combo with an effortless topknot and striped cardigan. This is the ideal high-low combination. 

Another day, another stunning Réalisation dress, which Pixie has made even cooler with the addition of tan suede boots. 

The definition of an Insta-bait backdrop, Pixie looks the Almalfi part in her tiered Zimmerman maxi and headscarf.

Yes, 2019's top colour trend might be lime green, but Pixie was wearing the standout shade way back in November 2018.

Once again, Pixie dresses down her printed dress with a beaded Shrimps bag, a denim jacket and Castañer wedges.

For Simone Rocha's London Fashion Week show in February 2018, Pixie was lucky enough to wear one of the designer's new-season pieces before anyone else. 

A boho girl at heart, Pixie looks at ease in her sheer floral top and split-front denim maxi skirt. 

Indeed, it's clear Pixie is just as obsessed with Réalisation's designs as the rest of us.

Pixie gives her uniform of ripped jeans and a printed tee a stylish update with a leather mac and tortoiseshell heels. 

Pixie's style took an incredibly chic turn at the 2016 British Fashion Awards, where she chose this cream maxi dress complete with a pretty bow and sheer sleeves.
