If one thing was made clear in 2021, it's that everyone—and we mean everyone—is obsessed with cutouts. Kim Kardashian wore them in the Vatican City (despite the location's strict dress code), while her sister Kendall Jenner wore them to celebrate her best friend Lauren Perez's wedding. And those are just the two that immediately come to mind. Perhaps the only person we haven't seen don the peekaboo trend is Meghan Markle—until now. It's true. Cutouts now have Markle's stamp of approval.

In a sneak peek of her surprise appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which will air on Thursday, Markle can be seen wearing a white, long-sleeved blouse that features balloon sleeves and delicate palm-shaped cutouts. She paired the top by Oscar de la Renta with black trousers and matching pumps. The look was especially refreshing since, unlike most other cutout sightings, Markle's take on the trend was extremely subtle, begging the question, Can cutouts look grown-up? According to Markle, they absolutely can.
