Kate Middleton Just Wore 2019’s Biggest Ankle Boot Trend With Jeggings

When Kate Middleton isn't wearing polished midi dresses, pencil skirts, and formal gowns, she's made a habit of wearing skinny jeans and ankle boots (especially for outdoorsy activities). And that's exactly what she did today for a visit to the Islington Community Garden. This time, instead of skinny jeans she wore jeggings and instead of ankle boots she wore hiking boots (aka combat boots). She finished off the look with a timeless tweed jacket and teardrop earrings. Middleton went for a color-coordinated look (unlike sister-in-law Meghan Markle just yesterday) with olive green jeggings and suede boots to match.

You've probably heard by now (possibly from us) that hiking boots are the top ankle boot trend to invest in this season. Very stylish, very famous women like Kaia Gerber, Gigi Hadid, Jennifer Aniston, and Sienna Miller have been wearing the trend on a regular basis as of late, and Middleton is clearly on the same page with her See by Chloé boots. Her particular boots are almost sold out, but we found a slew of other options that she (and you) would love.
