Yep, it's true: In a single day, the highest-paid model in the industry earns the equivalent of many people's yearly salary. Forbes just released its new list of the top-earning models of 2018, and none other than 23-year-old Kendall Jenner took the number one spot. Forbes reports that Jenner raked in an impressive $22.5 million in just 12 months—divided by 365 days in a year, that comes out to roughly $61,600 per day. Let that sink in for a minute. That high number reflects Jenner's slew of contracts with top brands this year, including Estée Lauder, Adidas, and Calvin Klein. (Not to mention her many magazine covers.)

Karlie Kloss nabbed the number two spot on the list, with $13 million in payouts this year thanks in part to her deals with Swarovski, Adidas, and other brands. Scroll down to see who else made the top five in Forbes's list of the highest-paid models of 2018.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
