Gwyneth Paltrow Wore the Summer Basic You Can Get for $25

How can you tell it's summer when we're still under quarantine? When you officially make the switch from sweatpants to sweatshorts. Riveting stuff, I know. Without any reason to get dressed up these days, I've gone all-in on my loungewear collection, which relies heavily on sweatshorts now that the weather has warmed up.

Not only do my fellow editors agree, but Gwyneth Paltrow has also jumped on the bandwagon. Photographed on a hike in Los Angeles with her husband, Brad Falchuk, Paltrow wore gray sweatshorts with a plunging black tank top and Hoka One One running shoes. (And don't forget the face mask—because safety is chic.) A ton of brands have similarly comfortable shorts available right now, starting at the low, low price of $13. (Do I sound like a car salesman yet?) Scroll down to see how Gwyneth Paltrow wears the trend, and shop comfy shorts for yourself.

Next, I'm predicting Mango's next 25 cult-favorite pieces.

Erin Fitzpatrick
Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
