I Can't Even Stare Directly at Gigi Hadid's Blinding Jumpsuit

In case you haven't heard, New York Fashion Week is well underway, meaning that celebs, editors, influencers, and everyone in the industry is stepping out in their most eye-catching (and photogenic) outfits to date. There's a lot of buzz about, but one Gigi Hadid outfit in particular actually physically stopped me in my tracks. On her way back from walking in Brandon Maxwell's runway show, Hadid sported an off-duty outfit that's anything but low-key.

She wore an iridescent pink jumpsuit that looked like it had just been plucked straight from the '80s—emphasis on the iridescent. Once my eyes adjusted to the blinding garment, though, I realized that the shiny fabric is actually a trend we're seeing pop up all over the place right now—Hadid's take on it might just be the most extreme iteration yet. She styled it with her signature streetwear edge, wearing chunky-soled combat boots, slim Matrix-style sunglasses, and a cartoon-print Prada bag.
