Over the years, there have been specific items Alexa Chung has become known for wearing, like her Kina Mary Janes from the French shoe brand Carel.

Another example of this is her penchant for Barbour jackets, which she's been seen wearing at the famous Glastonbury many times over the years (Kate Moss popularized wearing them to the festival as well). Chung even designed a few of her own collections for Barbour.

Started in 1894, the brand is a family-owned business with headquarters in Simonside, South Shields in the North East of England. And with England known for its notorious weather, it makes sense a British label would be behind the iconic heritage outerwear—it started off as a supplier to sailors, fishermen and mariners; those who braved the worst of the weather at sea.
