Fall is the season for fashion. Between fashion month, designers putting out their largest collections, the return of layering, and the overall urge to rethink your entire wardrobe, there's a certain energy around getting dressed that simply doesn't exist the rest of the year. I'm not the only one who feels this way, though. Over the past few weeks, I've been out and about more than usual, chatting with editors, stylists, and content creators about the trends everyone is most excited about, the designer buys on their wish lists, and where they see fashion heading. I've gathered their insights and taken plenty of mental notes to share with Who What Wear readers.
What's the tea, you ask? First, fall 2026 is all about corduroy pants and chocolate-brown jeans, which Gigi Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski were already spotted wearing this past week. Brocade, jacquard, tapestry, and embroidered jackets, which we saw a lot on the fall/winter 2026 runways, will be everywhere because they ooze opulence.
