The Skirt-and-Shoe Combo to Wear in a Heatwave, According to Victoria Beckham
Alright, we're taking notes.
There's currently a heatwave pretty much everywhere in the world right now. But Victoria Beckham is not dressing any differently or straying from her standard aesthetic.
Instead, the designer recently stepped out in a head-to-toe nearly all black outfit while out in London. She wore a black shirt tucked into a high-waisted pencil skirt with a white lace trim and accessorized with a white Birkin and a pair of black peep-toe sandals.

While this isn't typically what we'd thrown on for nearly 100-degree weather, it's something we'd consider if we only had to be outside for a handful of minutes. The peep-toe sandals, though, do feel like the perfect shoe for this moment. They're less casual than a slip-on sandal or flip flop but still give the toes some room to breathe. And if we did have to wear a pencil skirt in this weather, we would certainly accessorize like Beckham.
