Not Anything You'd Expect: This Is the J.Lo-Approved Way to Style Bermuda Shorts in Paris
Skipping her usual PVC heels, J.Lo opted for peep-toe heels to pair with her long shorts. Discover the chic summer outfit ahead.
If you ask any Who What Wear editor where to look for outfit inspiration, their first answer will always be the streets of Paris. This is because there's an inexplicable stylish aura that Parisians radiate, and no matter the time of year, you can find a chic celebrity in front of the Ritz Paris wearing an elegant ensemble. The latter is especially true right now as Paris Couture Week wraps up. The latest A-lister to give us a lesson in good style is Jennifer Lopez, who is showcasing an unexpected but fresh way to style Bermuda shorts.
Spotted just this week, the actress and singer stepped out in chic black Bermuda shorts, which she paired with a short-sleeve white textured jacket—a complete look from Michael Kors's F/W 26 collection. She styled her outfit with her go-to accessories: oversize sunglasses and a Chanel bag. For shoes, though, she skipped her usual PVC heels and opted for peep-toe heeled mules instead.

Bermuda shorts, from classic tailored wool styles to trendy satin ones with drawstring waists, are trending right now. I've seen the silhouette on my Instagram feed and with my own two eyes in person. Actually, the other day in the Who What Wear NYC office, four editors, including myself, wore Bermuda shorts, all styled in myriad ways, proving their versatility among those with very different fashion tastes.
If I had to recommend just one piece to invest in for comfort and style right now, it would be Bermuda shorts. Keep scrolling to shop my edit of the best pairs, and if J.Lo has inspired you, I've also included a selection of peep-toe heels.
